The Air China Building is owned by Air China airlines. The building is used to house their air crews on their layovers in Vancouver. The company wanted a sound building that would be as maintenance friendly as possible. The cladding was changed from a combination of stucco and vinyl siding to a completely vinyl sided building. Wood trims were incorporated to add visual appeal. The balconies were re-designed to allow free drainage, with new face mounted aluminium railings.
